Mosquito Bites

Mosquito Bites Remedies

Mosquito bites can be very irritating. For people who are quite sensitive to mosquito bites they can be extremely uncomfortable, with swelling as well as itchiness being a problem.

Of course it is better to not get bitten in the first place but once the mosquito has bitten something has to be done about it.

There are quite a few different remedies that can be tried. They are all things that are commonly found and easy to come by. It would be unusual for none of them to be available.

  • Rubbing a clove of garlic on your skin can bring relief.

  • Rub some ice on the bites.

  • Vinegar rubbed on the bites brings relief. Do not scratch the bites before doing this or it will sting.

  • Combine olive oil and vinegar together and apply to the bites.

  • Use a salt water solution on the mosquito bites.

  • Mix 1 teaspoon baking soda in a glass of water. Rub over the bite until relieved.

  • Put fresh mud on it. Use this for all kinds of insect bites.

  • Dry soap rubbed on the mosquito bite can relieve the swelling and the itch.

  • Rub the inside of a banana peel on the bite. This also can relieve the swelling.

  • Rub lime juice diluted with water over the mosquito bites.

Try some of these when you are afflicted by mosquito bites. They are easy to try and inexpensive. If you find one that becomes a favorite share it with others. It might be just what they are looking for.
