Lavender Oil  Apply lavender oil directly to the acne on the skin.  Also lavender compresses can relieve the inflammation of acne.

Oatmeal  Cook oatmeal as normal.  Allow it to cool and apply to face like a mask.  Leave on for at least 15 minutes.  Wash off with warm water.

Rosemary Tea  Pour 1 cup of boiling water over a teaspoon of dried rosemary.  Steep for about 10 minutes.  Strain and use as a cleansing rinse for acne affected areas.  Repeat a few times each day.  This will help reduce inflammation.

Tea Tree Oil  The anti-bacterial properties of tea tree oil help to kill the bacteria associated with pimples and acne.  This in turn reduces inflammation.  Apply just to the areas affected by pimples or acne.
